History of Vanilla Blend
Vanilla Blend applications have been used by cultures across the globe for centuries. Perhaps the earliest vanilla blend use was by the Aztecs in the 14th century, who mixed spicy-sweet vanilla bean paste with cacao, along with other flavors like chiles, honey and cinnamon, to make the legendary chocolate drink, Xocolatl. Today, vanilla is ever-present in cuisine, perfumes and colognes. A little vanilla goes a long way, making it one of the most popular blending spices.
With its subtle scent, jojoba allows the rich, sweet aroma of vanilla essential oil to shine through in our Vanilla Blend. Harvested from seeds of a desert shrub in the United States and Mexico, jojoba is a soothing, moisturizing liquid wax that can be applied directly to the skin.
Using Vanilla Blended Oil
Bath & Shower
Add 5-10 drops to hot bath water, or sprinkle into shower steam before getting in for an at-home spa experience.
8-10 drops of essential oil per 1 ounce of carrier oil. Apply a small amount directly to areas of concern, such as muscles, skin, or joints. Work the oil gently into the skin until it is fully absorbed.
Inhale the aromatic vapors directly from the bottle, or place a few drops in a burner or diffuser to fill a room with its scent.
This oil can be used in your homemade DIY projects, such as in candles, soaps and other body care products!
